🤔আমেরিকার সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতি আব্রাহাম লিংকন প্রেসিডেন্ট হয়ে প্রথম যেদিন পার্লামেন্টে ভাষণ দিচ্ছিলেন তখন এক ভদ্রলোক দাঁড়িয়ে বললেন,
👉When former US President Abraham Lincoln became the first president to address parliament, a gentleman stood up and said,

🗣লিংকন সাহেব, ভুলে যাবেন না, আপনার বাবা আমাদের পরিবারের জন্য জুতা তৈরি করে দিতেন। 
👉Mr. Lincoln, don't forget, your dad used to make shoes for our family. 

👥আর একজন মুচির ছেলেকে প্রেসিডেন্ট হিসেবে অনেকেই মেনে নিতে পারেননি তখন। 
👉And many people could not accept the son of a shoemaker as president then.

😴একথা শোনার পরে সবাই চুপ হয়ে গেলেন কিন্তু লিংকন মোটেই বিচলিত হলেন না।
👉Everyone was silent when they heard this, but Lincon was not disturbed at all.

😰লিংকন লোকটির চোখে চোখ রেখে বললেন,
👉Lincoln looked the man in the eye and said,

🗣আমি জানি স্যার, আমার বাবা আপনার কেন এখানে অনেকেই আছেন যাদের পরিবারের জন্য জুতা তৈরি করতেন।
👉I know, sir, why my father has so many of you here who used to make shoes for the family.

🤦‍♀এ জন্য আমি গর্বিত, বাবা ছিলেন জুতা তৈরির জন্য জিনিয়াস। সে কাজকে কখনো ছোট করে দেখতেন না,
👉I am proud of this, my father was a genius for making shoes. He never underestimated the work,

🗣বাবা ছিলেন জুতা তৈরির নিপুন কারিগর,আজ পর্যন্তও তার কোন কাজের সমালোচনা হয়নি,
👉Dad was a skilled shoemaker, and his work has never been criticized.

😪কারন তিনি কাজ করতেন শুধু গ্রহিতার সন্তুষ্টির জন্য নয়, নিজের সন্তুষ্টির জন্য।
👉Because he worked not only for the satisfaction of the recipient, but also for his own satisfaction.

👥আপনার যদি কোন অভিযোগ থাকে তাহলে বলুন আমি আপনাকে এক জোড়া জুতা তৈরি করে দেব। আমিও ভাল জুতা তৈরি করতে পারি।
👉If you have any complaints tell me I will make you a pair of shoes. I can also make good shoes.

🗣একথা শোনার পর লোকটি লজ্জায় মাথা নিচু করে রইলেন, তখন লিংকন বললেন, কোন কাজকেই ছোট ভাববেন না।
👉When the man heard this, he bowed his head in shame, and Lincoln said, "Don't underestimate anything."

🌹কাজকে সম্মান করুন তা না হলে সারা জীবন অন্যের দয়ায় বাঁচতে হবে। একজন রুইমাছ দিয়ে খায়, তা দেখে হিংসা না করে পারলে আপনি ডাল দিয়ে ভাত খান।
👉If you don't respect the work, you will have to live in the mercy of others for the rest of your life. If you can't be jealous of a person who eats ruimacha, you can eat rice with dal.

🌹তবুও ভাল কাজের প্রসংশা করুন আর মন্দ কাজ বর্জন করুন।
👉Yet praise good deeds and shun evil deeds

🌹আমাদের সমাজে এমন অহংকারী মানুষের অভাব নেই।চলুন আজ থেকে আমরা সকল হিংসা অহংকার পরিত্যাগ করি।
👉There is no shortage of such arrogant people in our society. Let us renounce all violent arrogance from today.
