১। প্রতিষ্ঠা- ১৭৭২ সালে ।
২। নামকরণ- ঢাকেশ্বরী দূর্গ থেকে । ৩। জাহাঙ্গীরনগর নামকরণ- সুবেদার ইসলাম খাঁ ।
৪। Dacca থেকে Dhaka হয়- ১৯৮২ সালে ।
৫। রাজধানী হয়- ৪ বার ।
৬। ১ম রাজধানী স্থাপক- সুবেদার ইসলাম খাঁ ।
৭। ঢাকা গেট- মীর জুমলা ।
৮। ছোট কাটরা- শায়েস্তা খাঁ ।
৯। বড় কাটরা- শাহ সুজা ।
১০। লালবাগ দূর্গের পূর্ব নাম- আওরঙ্গবাদ দূর্গ ।
১১। লালবাগ দূর্গে সিপাহী বিদ্রোহ হয়- ১৮৫৭সালে।
১২। হোসেনী দালান নির্মান করেন- মীর মুরাদ ।
১৩। তারা মসজিদ- শায়েস্তা খাঁ ।
১৪। ঢাকা কলেজ- ১৮৪১ সালে ।
১৫। ঢাকা ক্লাব- ১৮৫১সালে ।
১৬। কার্জন হল- ১৯০৫ সালে ।
১৭। গভর্ণর হাউসকে বঙ্গভবন করা হয়- ১৯৭২ সালে ।
১৮। অপরনাম- মসজিদের, রিক্সার শহর ।
১৯। পৃথিবীর ১১তম মেগাসিটি ঢাকা শহর ।
২০। পৃথিবীর ৯ম বৃহত্তম শহর ।
২১। ঢাকা পৌরসভা- ১৮৬৪ সালে ।
২২। ঢাকা পৌরসভা কর্পোরেশন- ১৯৭৮ সালে ।
২৩। ঢাকা সিটি কর্পোরেশন- ১৯৮৯ সালে ।
২৪। প্রথম নির্বাচিত মেয়র- মোঃ হানিফ (১৯৯৪সাল) ।
