The dowry system (যৌতুক প্রথা) is a social curse(অভিশাপ). It can be an amount of money or property that a wife or her family is forced to pay to her husband when they get married. It was a social custom in ancient time . But at present dowry has become a  social curse for our society. In this subcontinent (উপমহাদেশ) almost every family have to face this curse. A poor family having a maiden(কুমারী মেয়ে) faces a great problem due to dowry. They cannot arrange a marriage ceremony for their daughter due to the demand for dowry by the father or relatives of the bridegroom. If the parents of the bride cannot pay as per demand, the wife is tortured and even kiked out from her husband’s house by the relatives. Our young generation should be made conscious of this curse and try to wipe out (দূর করা) such a stupid system. My favorite teacher’s name is Mr. Rahman. He is a really caring and good teacher. I read in class seven and he is our class teacher. He is very punctual and comes to class in time. I love to stay attentive to his class. He is very charming and loving. His voice is soft and he teaches very well. He is an English teacher, especially he teaches English 2nd Paper. Covid - 19 is an infectious disease which is caused by corona virus. It is a new kind of virus for which the whole world is suffering a lot...Covid - 19 was firstly identified (সনাক্ত) in December 2019 in Wuhan (উহান) the city of China. In March 2020 WHO(world health organization) declared the covid - 19 outbreak the pendemic. Now it has spread throughout the world. The virus is spread by the droplets generated from the cough or sneeze of an infected person.Covid-19 symptoms can be very mild to severe. Some people have no symptoms. The most common symptoms (উপসর্গ) are fever, dry cough and breathing problem.
